Internet censorship bills SOPA/PIPA would allow Global corporations to censor the Internet and takedown websites that "allegedly" infringe on their intellectual property rights. There would be no due process, no review by any law enforcement agency. Private Global companies would issue a takedown order and the following things would happen.
Search engines would be forced to remove all search results to that site. All Internet companies would be forced to cease business with that site. All Online payment providers would be forced to stop any payments to that site. and much Worse, once a site has been removed from the Internet, it is up to the website’s owners to sue and prove they did not infringe on any copyright protected property.
In short - websites would be shutdown by Global corporations with large Legal teams, censoring the Internet, using bias Laws. Only sites that could afford drawn out Legal action will be able to attempt to prove their innocence.

SOPA/PIPA would force Search engines like Google, Yahoo and Bing to remove search results to all websites that global corporations do not approve of.
Social Networking sites would also be held liable for every act of copyright infringement that their users commit, this would force all your favourite sites like Facebook, Twitter, Youtube, etc. to "heavily" censor all their user content.

The FBI says that Megaupload provided a service that let Internet users navigate to the website and upload, download and share files. Among those files, say the FBI, were pirated content inc films and music. Also hosted on Megaupload’s servers, however, were massive amounts of legitimate data created by their users who did not use the site for illegal purposes. Authorities raided the home of Megaupload founder Kim Dotcom and subsequently shutdown the site, impacted were millions of innocent Internet users who used the site to access work files and other Lawful documents. While the FBI’s intentions seems to have been to stop illegal file sharing, by taking Megaupload offline they have also disastrously affected legitimate file sharing by Lawful Internet users.

It has been reported that large Gaming, Music, Movie and Media corporations support SOPA, PIPA, ACTA and along with Other Global Giants have been paying Government lobbyists to introduce these bills to Law makers. Internet reports say SOPA, PIPA and ACTA will enable Global corporations to censor internet search results by blocking their (smaller) competitors websites.
